SPHC Carbon steel coil

SPHC steel (JIS G 3131) is a hot-rolled mild steel sheet under the Japanese Industrial Standard. It offers good formability and weldability, commonly used for general structural purposes. The surface quality is typically in the as-rolled condition, suitable for applications where surface finish is not critical, such as structural components, pipes, automotive parts, and general machinery components. In standard classification, hot-rolled steel sheets (such as SPHC) and cold-rolled steel sheets (such as SPCC, SPCD in JIS G 3141) belong to different categories. The previously mentioned designations like DC01 (1.0330), DC03 (1.0347), etc., refer to European standard cold-rolled steel grades and are not equivalent to SPHC.

PPGI DC01
